First Impressions Teams (graphic)

If you’ve been around BCA for a while, you no longer need any help finding a seat or finding your classroom. But for the newest among us, initial visits can be a little overwhelming. Greeters, Hosts (Ushers), Information Center volunteers, Shuttle Drivers, and others are a valued part of our First Impressions Teams. We have immediate openings to serve on our First Impressions Teams alongside the service you attend.

  • Sundays @ 9:30 AM | 11:00 AM
  • Wednesdays @ 7 PM
  • Special Events – We will let you know in advance!

Hosts (Ushers):

At BCA, our Hosts greet everyone that enters the Worship Center, making them feel welcome and offering assistance as needed. General tasks include seating guests, passing offering plates, serving communion, and distributing church communication.

Greeters:

MinistryGreeters minister by welcoming those who come to the service at the door, shaking hands, smiling, and offering direction to services or classes. These individuals help give BCA a warm, inviting atmosphere that is integral in making our guests feel comfortable and interested in seeing more of the church. You don’t have to know a lot of people, just have the gift of hospitality!

Connection Center:

The volunteers who staff the Connection Center make themselves available on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings to answer questions, direct people to classes, and offer general assistance to those who may need it. We are looking for outgoing individuals who love to meet new people, share the love of the Lord and welcome our guests to BCA. General knowledge of BCA ministries is helpful, along with a friendly smile and a willingness to serve.

Shuttle Drivers:

MinistryShuttle Drivers make themselves available to transport people to and from offsite parking to BCA for the Sunday morning services. Their ministry not only provides transportation but provides help in getting people on the shuttles and to the church safely. Their friendly spirit can help set the tone for the services.

Parking Attendants:

MinistryParking Attendants give one of the very first impressions our guests will receive about the personality of BCA. A friendly smile as you give directions and aid the flow of traffic can make a huge difference in one’s visit at BCA. There are opportunities to serve each Sunday as well as for special events.

Safety and Security:

During services and special events, we want to make sure that there are key people on site to help us in the area of safety and security. This is a practical way in which we can care for our guests. We will provide First Aid and CPR training opportunities.
